Young Room Decoration
This decoration project had as objective to decorate a juvenile room in the Peninsula, Barra da Tijuca – Rio de Janeiro.
In the transition phase of the child, the dormitory becomes a refuge, or rather, a private universe. It is precisely for this reason that space must undergo a revolutionary decoration.
The old furniture was no longer adequate or functional, and space did not suit him any more. So the boy stayed out of his room most of the time.
Due to the needs, the architecture office of the architect Virna Carvalho was contracted to elaborate an innovative room, functional and adapted according to the personality of the child. In fact, for parents still a child, however he is already almost a teenager … rsrs. After all, you still enjoy your LEGO collection, but you already play guitar and guitar.
Even before the project began, the couple bought a wallpaper and from it, the blue and yellow tones were chosen for the new decoration of the young room.
To compose style and practicality to the environment, wood frames were lacquered on the wall for musical instruments. Niche on bedside table with caster for amplifier. Decorative and functional items for the bedroom, since the boy has a special connection with music.
His Lego collection has been arranged in various parts of the room, such as shelves and shallow drawers. The most interesting of these is the space under the glass top as it allows the toy to be mounted like a sculpture without the risk of dismounting by an oversight.
In his new room, the boy is proud to take his friends to play and enjoy some good music. Parents were overjoyed with practicality, organization, beauty and functionality in the new environment, but the greatest satisfaction is to see the child’s enchantment.
